The Nigerian Region of the Clarist Missionary Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament is preparing to celebrate with joy and gratitude the 50th anniversary of its foundation. On the occasion of this anniversary, Mother Marta and Sister Carmelita have arrived in the country to accompany the sisters and take part in this significant moment of communion.

Throughout these five decades, the congregation’s presence in Nigeria has been an expression of faith, self-giving, and service. This anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the path traveled, give thanks for the dedication of so many sisters, and renew the commitment to continue carrying the message of the Gospel wherever the mission may require.<br/>

The main celebration of this 50th anniversary will take place on October 17. It will be an occasion to praise God for the blessings received throughout these years, remember those who dedicated their lives to the mission in Nigeria, and look toward the future with hope.
The sisters invite the entire family of the Clarist Missionary Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament and all who accompany their mission to unite in prayer for the Region of Nigeria. May this anniversary renew the missionary vocation of each community and strengthen the desire to serve with humility, joy, and fidelity.
