On Saturday, October 17, we celebrated with deep gratitude God’s great love for the Clarist Missionaries of the Most Blessed Sacrament, marking 50 years of our presence among our brothers and sisters in Nigeria.

The celebration also brought together two deeply significant moments for our congregation: the 25th anniversary of religious consecration of Sisters Geraldine Chidiebere Offor, Theresa Nneka Emoka, and Scholastica Ogochukwu Ajaezu; and the first profession of vows of Sisters Serah Tochukwu Njoku, Benedicta Oluchukwu Okoye, and Anastasia Kosorochi Chima.

We give thanks to God for each of these sisters, for their self-giving, and for the journey shared throughout these five decades of mission. We also pray for all those who have accompanied, sustained, and helped us make this presence in Nigeria possible.

May the Lord continue to guide our mission and grant new vocations in service to the Church and to our brothers and sisters.
