The Beginning of an Adventure of Faith\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Congregation of the Clarisas Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament was founded by Mother Mar\u00eda In\u00e9s Teresa Arias in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, on August 23, 1945.<\/span><\/p>

In 1951, having received the decree of Pontifical approval for the foundation, she sent the first \u201cAd Gentes\u201d missionaries to different parts of the world. All of them were imbued with the very spirit of their Foundress, burning with apostolic zeal, offering themselves for the salvation of souls. <\/span><\/p>

The motto \u201cOPORTET ILLUM REGNARE\u201d (He must reign) expresses the mission of the Clarisa Missionary Sister of the Blessed Sacrament, who embraces the duty of evangelization as her very own, sharing the Church\u2019s responsibility to proclaim the Gospel message to every human person across all social, cultural, and economic backgrounds, regardless of race or beliefs.<\/span><\/p>

In this spirit of making God\u2019s mercy known to all, the Clarisa Missionary Sister, living a contemplative-active life, commits herself to the specific apostolates of the Congregation and bears witness to fraternal love, always in a spirit of understanding and service, lived in love and peace\u2014charity being what impels her to live no longer for herself, but for every soul in need. With the sole purpose of bringing the Gospel of Christ and giving glory to God, she lives her vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience, offering herself from the moment of her entrance for the salvation of souls, and living in accordance with the charism of her Foundress and the Constitutions approved by the Holy See. <\/span><\/p>

To date, the Clarisas Missionary Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament are present in: Mexico, Japan, the United States, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Nigeria, Korea, India, Russia, Argentina, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ireland, and Vietnam.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Decree of Pontifical Approval<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On June 22, 1951, we received the Decree of Pontifical Approval, a milestone that consolidated our identity as an Institute of Pontifical Right. The Church recognized our mission to bring Christ to every corner of the world. <\/p>

This recognition urged us to expand our work, always faithful to our Eucharistic and Marian charism, trusting in Divine Providence at every step of our missionary journey.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
